Ki is excited to share the latest magazine publication from her friend, Jo Packham: "where women create BUSINESS"!

Jo has spent 30 years in the handmade publishing market, producing the Where Women Create: Book of Organization and running her company, WWC Press. She partners with Stampington & Company to produce the bestselling mags Where Women Create, Where Women Cook, and now, where women create BUSINESS

The new mag launched this month, giving an in-depth look at the professional lives of small but influential artisan/entrpreneurs. The magazine provides tangible advice that readers and professional-minded women can apply to their own businesses, whether they are just starting out or are seasoned hands. Among the useful advice: everything from how to gain targeted exposure through product placement to how to hire an employee, how to apply for an SBA loan or find the perfect PR agent.
wwcBusiness aims to help small businesswomen work smarter and provide them the resources and community needed to manage and grow their "American Dream."

My dream is open a childrens art studio! I want a safe, happy, vibrant space in which children can learn about themselves and the world around them through art.
This sounds like a magazine I "NEED". I've had to close on of my locations but am trying to redirect and refocus on the remaining location as well as seeking new directions to focus on.
I would love to open my own shop up and have so many different and neat things, antiques to lots of handmade items :)

My goal is to really find my "voice" this year. To truly put out for display the stuff that shows me. Quirky warts and all. To search out the best junk I can find and help people discover new ways to incorporate vintage pieces into their modern lives.
My husband and I opened a vintage home goods shop in March 2012. Our goals this year are to be more organized with our paperwork/taxes and to find more sources for buying good junk!

My sister and I are looking to expand our imprint in the junking world through our co-venture Sister Shic. We have sold at various flea markets for years but this past October we hosted our first annual junking/vintage sale and it was a huge success with over 400 shoppers. We look forward to our next sale and to growing the market in our area.
Take our creations to more craft shows! The love of wood seems to be increasing, so we have a great medium to work with. We just need to get it out there for all to see beyond our Etsy shop.
My goal is to make money on the art I create. I have a tiny business, I have an etsy site, I need marketing skills and courage. C O U R A G E.....I think that will have to be my new word for the year

A creative business goal, eh? My business goals this year are to open an Etsy store, add to what I sell on eBay, start a blog, and use Pinterest as a selling tool. I'm not sure how "creative" those are but they are all pretty much out of my comfort zone so creative for me anyway~LOL!
So looking forward to your Weddings magazine. We did a wedding on the cheap two weeks ago and it turned out very lovely. I really enjoyed putting it all together for my daughter and found a possible niche for myself!
Maybe a Magazine like this will give me the incentive I need to pull the old trunks and furniture out of the storage house and give a little TLC to them and show the world just how creative I really can be.
