An email recently landed in our inbox from a reader who asked us to come shop in her little town, which boasts 21 antiques stores. Wow! And that got us thinking:
If the Flea Market Style team were coming to visit you, to what city or town would you take us for an entire day of junking, antiquing and vintage shopping?
We'd love to know where your happy place is whether it's a teeny-tiny town or a big, sprawling city. Tell us what makes it so special. Does it have a Main Street lined with lots of shops, plus fabulous flea markets, interesting festivals, and a great diner where you can refuel after shopping? Note: We're looking for cities and towns where it's easy to fill a full day shopping at multiple places.
By now, dear readers, you know the drill: Send an email to fleamarketstylemag@hotmail.com with "MY FAVORITE TOWN" in the subject line. In your message, please tell us why this particular town is your shopping nirvana. Give us as much information as you can to convince us it's a great shopping destination, including the names of your favorite stores, festivals, antiques malls, and flea markets. If we use your nomination, we may quote you in an upcoming issue of FMS.
And don't forget to include your FULL NAME and contact information (and your blog/website, if you have one) so we can get in touch with follow-up questions. Who knows? Ki, Stacey, Margo, Kim, Cammie, Tim and I just may show up on your doorstep!
